We just went to look at this place and really liked it.
We are going to fill out the application for it anyway and see how we go. Hopefully someone else dosn’t beat us too it.
Update: We got the house and we get the keys on the 7th of June. The above link doesn’t work now because they’ve taken the house off their real estate website. Here is a link to a map showing the street though.
Here’s Val and Ella on the plane yesterday.
Ella was fine, a bit wiggly but pretty good, she had everyone on the plane saying hello to her. I managed to lose $100 when i walked away from the ATM in the airport, without taking my money out of the slot. By the time i realised and went back it was gone of course. Doh!
Well some of you may know, but for those of you that don’t – it looks like we are moving to Queensland.
We have got a bit sick of how expensive Bondi is over the last year or so. We can get a 4 bedroom house in Queensland for the same price as our 2 bedroom unit in Bondi.
So with our expanding family it seems to make sense.
This afternoon we are flying up to stay with our friends, the Macaulys, for a long weekend. I have 2 job interviews lined up and hope to organise more when we are there. We also have some houses to look at too.
So its going to be a busy weekend. But we hope to keep you posted with a website update everyday while we are away. So check back regularly over the next 5 days to find out what’s going on.

Just a short clip of us on the beach today having a little picnic.
It was Mothers Day here today so Ella and I made Val Breakfast in bed, then we went down to the beach for this picnic in the afternoon.
We went to visit Michele and her new baby on Monday night.
Since then they are now home from the hospital and are doing very well. I’d forgotten how small new born babys are already!
