Ella takes Val to see Ocean’s 13
Val and Ella went to the cinema during the week to see Ocean’s 13.
The Mothers and Baby’s group that Val has been going to, organise trips to the movies once a week. The cinema has special showings for mothers and babys.
Ella watched some of the movie and also slept for a while, as you can see. She is becoming a bit of a movie buff already and told me afterwards that she thought, “Matt Damon’s performance was a bit poor, but that Brad Pitt is a bit of alright”.
She hopes to catch another film soon.
Brave Ella – Gets her immunisation jabs
Ella went for her 2 month immunisation jabs this week.
She proved she wasn’t a scaredy cat (like Mummy) and only cried a little bit.
It was all smiles after.
Meeting Val’s Cousin Geraldine
We went to meet Val’s Cousin Geraldine this weekend
She is out here doing her years working visa, and seems to be having a great time.
Hopefully we’ll meet up with her again.
After the Storm
We’ve had a nice quiet weekend. It was a long weekend because of the queens birthday.
We survived the storm that you might have heard about on the news. Worst storm since 1973 apparently. That was on Saturday, but as you can see from the photo, today (Monday), all is clear and a bit sunny again. Bit chilly though.
You can actually see all the sand on the roadway behind Val and Ella. That’s not usually there, it was blown there in the storm.

Well folks, I’ve added a short video clip of Ella to the ‘My Films’ section over on the right.
It was filmed with Val’s camera so the quality is not great, but you can see her cheeky little face well enough.
I’ll do some more videos soon.
