Our Life Down Under

Maybe not really artwork here but a bit of Photo re-touching.

This is a photograph of my Mum and Grandpa. Mum carried it around in here purse for years and it got a bit worn.

I fixed it up for her.

This was my winning design to the Fosters Botany, commemorative whiskey label, competition.

The bottles actually went into a short production run, and were given away to employees when the site closed down.

Everyday this week I’m going to put up some of my Photoshop Artwork.

Here is the first one. Do you recognise those eyes?

We went to Ella’s friend Zac’s, 1st birthday party on Friday.

It was in Avalon, about an hour and a half north, near Palm Beach where Home and Away is made.

We had a great time at the house which was build by Zac’s great, great grand father and has a amazing view out over the water. It’s also at the bottom of a big slope, and has a thing you could describe as an ‘industrial stair lift’, running about 150 feet from the house, up to the road at the top of the slope. I wish we had taken a picture of it.

Anyway, there are some picture of the party in the usual place here.

Everyone at the party was amazed at how clever Ella is. They couldn’t believe she had so many words at her age and how clearly she says “Hello”, which she says none-stop. She can also say, Mummy, Daddy, Uh-oh, Ta-Ta (for thank you) Hi-ya, Day-day (for Bye-bye) . She also tries to join in with songs that we sing to her. She really is quite a brain.
