New Photos
Added some new pictures to our flickr page.
Also just added a little Twitter widget to the side bar.
Just fighting with my computer trying to get my Camcorder to work with it, but no luck yet. If I don’t throw it through the window I’m getting to the point where I may have to get someone from Dell to look at it. One of the main reasons for getting it was so that I could make more videos of the girls. It’s all very frustrating. I think I will give up tonight and go to bed, to tired to do any more.
Video Monday
Just for chuckles here’s something new. A video every Monday, especially selected for extra laughs and sillyness.
Byron Bay and Busy Times
I’ve been a bit rubbish with the updates recently, but we’ve been very busy having a good time, sorry.
We had two very busy weeks with visitors, Michelle, Gary Tadgh and Caoilinn came to stay for a week followed by David and Laura the week after. You’ll find all the photos on our flickr page as usual.
It was Val’s birthday last Friday and I surprised her with a weekend away in Byron Bay. We stayed at a place called the Byron Bay Rainforest Resort. We had a great time Check out the flickr pictures of that too. Probably lots more I could tell you here but it’s Friday and and I’m about to leave work and go home to all my girls. ‘All my girls’ ha ha, who’d have thought.
Couple of other quick things. You may have seen the odd photo pop up on the flickr site at odd times, these are sent directly from my iPhone, if you were wondering. I’ve also been Twittering a lot more resently, so if your thinking of trying Twitter out (I highly recommend you do) you can find me at www.twitter.com/simonpither
Now, its the weekend, what shall we do?
What’s a Favicon?
You may or may not have noticed that I’ve added a Favicon to the site. Its the little image that appears just before the http://ourlifedownunder in your web browsers address bar.
While it looks ok for now I thought I’d have a bit of a competition to design one amongst you fine visitors to the site.
I’ll of course use the winning entry to replace the current one.
Its very easy to do, so head over to here and start designing.
Once you have a stunning little image email it to us at simonpither (at) gmail.com and use the subject line Favicon. You can enter as many times as you like.
Good Luck
