Still waiting for this baby to appear.

In some ways, it’s good that it’s taking it’s time as I only have 4 days holiday accumulated with my new job. So the closer it gets to Christmas the better I suppose.

Also my Mum arrives on the 14th so at this rate Val might still be in the hospital when she gets here.

Google launched a new service last week called Friend Connect.

It can basically turn any website into a social network, and I though I would give it a try here on Our Life Down Under.

You can sign-in with your existing Google, Yahoo or Open id so it’s pretty easy, as most people will already have these.

Hopefully it will add some nice features to the site. Leave some comments and let me no what you think.

Been killing time playing Fantastic Contraptions today.

It’s a brilliant web based game that will get you hooked, make time disappear and make you say swear words you never knew you knew.

I designed my own level today and propose a challenge. The official www.ourlifedownunder.net Fantastic Contraptions Competition.

If more than one person beats the level Val will be judging the winner (she is a secret wizz at this game).

UPDATE – Just realized you need to pay $5 to be able to play levels someone else has made. So I won’t be counting on too many takers on this.
